CAMP HBG 2.0 - Distance Learning Care
Camp HBG 2.0 is made possible through a partnership with the Healdsburg Unified School District, Corazón Healdsburg and the generous financial support from Healdsburg Community members. To support our working families please consider giving to support Camp HBG 2.0!
What is Camp HBG 2.0?
Camp Hbg 2.0 is a distance learning care program that provides students in grades TK-5 the opportunity to complete their virtual learning in a supervised environment and enables parents the chance to return to work. Students are split into consistent and small groups where they complete their distanced learning as well as take part in enriching recreational activities. The program is supervised by Community Services recreation staff who have experience running the traditional after school program as well as the modified Camp HBG program this summer.
Community Services staff are following guidance from the Sonoma County Health Officer, California Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control, and collaborating with statewide municipal recreation providers to ensure we operate according to the current guidance for camps and childcare programs.
When and Where Does the Program Take Place?
Healdsburg Community Center: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 5:30pmThe Community Center is a former elementary school so we are able to use multiple classrooms for the program, a large cafeteria for safe food distribution, and a significant outdoor space including a blacktop and sports field turf area and an iGrow garden.
Camp HBG 2.0 will follow the Healdsburg Unified School District's Academic Calendar
